Job Description

The Mechanical Assemblers , at the direction of the Assembly Manager, are responsible for assembling parts, subassemblies, and/or products using a variety of tools and/or equipment according to required product specifications, processes, and procedures in a manufacturing environment.

• Assemble and build mechanical systems with the support of step-by-step work instruction software
• Responsible for the installation of fasteners, hardware, and sealant
• Ensure quality and self-inspection is carried out as per procedure.
• Prepare products for shipment.

Prerequisite

• Experience in a manufacturing or equivalent environment.
• Competency in the use of various pneumatic and electric tools
• Being able to lift metal pieces of 50 pounds.
• Ability to meet deadlines and align productivity with the organization's performance indicators and objectives.
• Adaptability, learning, and problem-solving skills.
• Good manual dexterity, meticulousness, and resourcefulness.
• Advanced spoken and written bilingualism (French – English) – an asset.
