Position Description:

Join our dynamic team at CGI as a Test Automation Engineer, where your expertise in JavaScript coding will drive our QA efforts to new heights. In this role, you'll maintain and expand our suite of over automated tests, ensuring our software solutions maintain the highest standards of quality and reliability.

While proficiency with CodeceptJS is valued, it's your strong foundation in JavaScript coding that will be the cornerstone of your success.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

1. Maintain and enhance our extensive suite of over automated tests, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
2. Develop new automated tests using JavaScript, seamlessly integrating them into our CI/CD processes.
3. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues within the automated testing environment with precision.
4. Collaborate closely with development teams to translate new features and updates into comprehensive test plans.
5. Optimize testing processes to streamline execution time and increase coverage.
6. Document test results meticulously, collaborating with software developers to resolve any defects found.
7. Stay abreast of industry trends and testing best practices, continuously refining our testing suite.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Reside in Quebec province & hold authorization to work in Canada.
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Test Automation, with either Selenium/Cypress/Puppeteer/Playwright.
• Possess experience in JavaScript programming.
• Showcase exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Exhibit effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Have hands-on experience with CI/CD environments and version control systems.
• Understand Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.

Asset: Familiarity with CodeceptJS is advantageous (an asset).
