Job Description:
On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a .Net Developer on a contract basis. This role will involve developing and maintaining applications crucial to both internal operations and external client services. As a part of the team, you will be responsible for building and enhancing applications using a variety of technologies, including .NET, MVC, Angular, and SQL Server. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team environment while delivering high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Complete development tasks utilizing .NET, MVC, Entity Framework, and LINQ to meet corporate objectives and operational commitments.
- Develop interactive front-end pages using Angular or similar client-side frameworks to enhance user experience.
- Investigate and resolve bugs in both production and development environments.
- Write unit tests and conduct functional tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Conduct code reviews to provide feedback and ensure code standards are met.
- Write, optimize, and debug SQL Server Database queries to support application functionality.
- Collaborate within an Agile framework to deliver solutions efficiently and effectively.
- Develop code with a focus on Secure Coding Practices to maintain application security.
Qualifications:
- At least 3+ of full stack development in C# .NET.
- 3+ years of front-end development experience, including proficiency in Angular for building interactive user interfaces.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server for database development and data manipulation.
- Familiarity with unit testing practices and tools for developer-level testing.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Visual Studio and JavaScript or similar scripting languages.
- Desirable experience with Azure AD, Microsoft Identity, and Microsoft Graph for identity management.
- Experience integrating solutions with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus.
- Familiarity with ITIL v4 or equivalent change management environments is preferred.
- Background in Financial Services, Pension Administration, or Pension Services domains is advantageous.
Pay rate: $70-80/hr
