Reporting to the Service Desk Lead and Technical Support Lead, the Field Technician is responsible for the technical support of all end users at their assigned locations and, on occasion, at other locations as well. Central to this will be the use of a help desk system where they will plan, create and manage support tickets. Support to the end user will be provided both in person and remotely via phone and/or a remote desktop connection.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 2-4 years experience as a computer technician or in a similar role.

BSc/BA/College Diploma in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field from a recognized post-secondary institution.

Relevant certifications (e.g. A+, Network+, MCSE or MCSA) will be an advantage.

Experience with Microsoft Windows server administration, Active Directory, Windows 10, Microsoft Office, MacOS and IOS, G Suite and ChromeOS.

Excellent analytical and technical problem solving skills, with accurate attention to detail.

Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
