Finance ManagerProfessional Services£50,000 - £60,000 + bensWFH/1-2days in Central London My client is awell respected professional services provider based in Central London. Their current turnover is about £10 million, with a strong focus on client relationships and client orientation.The Finance Manager reports directly to the company's Directors and is responsible for the firm's daily accounting operations and management of a small team.Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Oversee accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Monitor general ledger and ensure completeness of reconciliations and year-end documentation.
- Review and improve internal accounting and project reporting systems.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee preparation of tax returns.
- Perform month-end closing and distribution of financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, IFRS, and GAAP.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and reports for senior management.
- Coordinate with parent company for weekly reporting.
- Handle VAT returns for UK and foreign operations.
- Complete end-of-year reporting on turnover, profit, and employee bonus schemes.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual returns and HMRC submissions.
- Manage day-to-day activities of Finance team
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
The ideal candidate will have a strong bookkeeping background and looking to make the step up to a Finance Manage position.In order to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, you must have good communication skills.
