PHAHMED Accounting and Business Consulting is seeking a qualified Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong tax qualifications as a CPA in Canada/Quebec, coupled with extensive experience in corporate and personal accounting. *Requirements:*

CPA designation in Canada/Quebec with a focus on tax

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in corporate and personal accounting

Proficiency in GST and QST regulations

Demonstrated expertise in bookkeeping and financial statement preparation

Experience in handling small to medium-sized corporate taxes

Proficient in personal tax filings

Knowledge of federal and provincial regulations for corporation opening

Excellent communication and client management skills

*Responsibilities:*

Manage GST and QST filings for clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Conduct bookkeeping duties and prepare accurate financial statements for client businesses

Provide comprehensive tax planning and preparation services for corporate and personal clients

Handle corporate tax matters for small to medium-sized businesses, including tax planning and compliance

Prepare personal tax returns for clients, optimizing deductions and minimizing liabilities

Assist clients with the process of opening corporations at both federal and provincial levels

Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing expert advice on financial matters

Create T4/T5 slips
