Duties:
- Conduct warm calling to potential clients to generate new business opportunities, maintain relationships with current clients
- Research and identify target markets and industries for business development
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through outbound calling
- Collaborate with the sales team to set up meetings and presentations with potential clients
- Track and report on sales activities and progress
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities
- Attend networking events and conferences to expand professional network
Experience:
- Proven experience in business development or sales role, must be within the trucking or oilfield industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport and establish relationships with potential clients
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Previous work in trucking industry/oilfield an asset
- Knowledge of market research techniques and databases
