LeverageTek is actively seeking a Business Systems Analyst - ERP Finance Applications for an 8-month contract with its Ottawa/Gatineau-based customer. The successful candidate will be required to work on-site at the customer headquarters in Gatineau, QC, on a hybrid basis. The customer is open to remote candidates. Work with and support/maintain an ERP, financial consolidation and reporting applications including but not limited to application configuration, troubleshooting of complex incidents and development of new features Proactively communicate and collaborate with business system owners and end users to analyze information needs and functional requirements Perform and review system configurations to ensure the configuration of the functional modules align with the designed business processes and perform updates as required Act as the liaison between Finance, Operational business units, Technology teams and Vendors Proactively identify areas for improvement regarding the financial applications and existing or new business processes Facilitate the collection of business requirements, understand, analyze and translate them into system requirements, configurations and customizations Participate in the collection and presentation of evidence to support the organization's audit cycles Minimum 3-5+ years of professional experience in a finance/accounting role or similar experience as a Business Analyst, serving mainly the accounting/finance group Strong knowledge and experience with ERP Finance Corporate Systems/Applications, this includes a basic knowledge of IT application troubleshooting and a basic level of technical knowledge of PL/SQL Strong knowledge of core ERP enabled business cycles, more specifically accounting, procurement and accounts payables cycles Assets Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel Finance, Accounting or related degree would be considered Functional experience with ERP systems such as D365, SAP would be considered an asset.
