The Omnitrans HR team is looking for a HRBP - Compensation and Benefits Expert. In this role, you will work closely with managers to ensure Omnitrans remains an employer of choice. Among other things, you will execute our compensation strategy, lead annual increase processes and renew group insurance programs for our employees in Canada and the United States. Responsibilities HRBP: Advise, support and intervene with managers regarding the good practices in human resources management. Understand business issues, analyze indicators, identify needs and propose appropriate HR actions. Proactively assist managers in the operational management of specific files (specific requests, management of disciplinary and administrative files, etc.). Monitor the Employee engagement survey results, analyze and make recommendations on how to improve engagement, coach and train managers and prepare quarterly communications. Promote and enforce HR programs, practices, policies and governing laws based on geographical locations. Provide support to the HR team for special projects and other initiatives (ex.: employee performance, employee engagement and change management). Support the HR team with certain administrative tasks, for example preparation of promotion letters. Compensation and Benefits: Develop market competitive and progressive policies and program recommendations (for review by management). Lead the annual salary review processes in Canada and US. Participate to selected compensation surveys. Conduct compensation reviews/job evaluation. Actively participate in the annual review of the group benefit programs for cost effectiveness, competitiveness and trends in Canada and United-States. Develop communication programs to ensure proper understanding and utilization of the Group Benefits Programs. Lead the Health & Wellness programs and is responsible for its communication including, but not limited to the Employee and Family Assistance Program. Ensure the compliance of Pay Equity in the province of Québec, and wherever applicable Provide reports and analysis on HR metrics and other ad-hoc requests. Prepare presentations for leadership on global compensation recommendations/proposals Keep abreast on compensation trends Interact with external benefit program vendors and work closely with the HR team. What you bring: Bacherlor's degree in Human Resource Management Between 8 and 10 years' HR business experience, including 4 years in Compensation and benefits. Strong communications skills, verbal and written, in French and in English. Knowledge of common human resources practices, employment laws and government compliance regulations in RH but particularly in Compensation Solid Customer service mindset for both internal and external contacts. Results oriented for both short and long-term successes and ability to put business acumen to work. Ability to influence, resolve conflicts and resolve human problems with agility, rigor, consistency and flexibility. Good judgment, passionate, with critical thinking. Able to manage multiple files at once. Capable of working as part of a team, in a spirit of cooperation. Able to handle highly sensitive files and confidential information. Proficient computer skills and competent with Microsoft Office programs. Knowledge of DayForce Ceridian an asset.
