Paid vacation and benefits coverage for the Permanent Full-time position, as per the ONA Collective Agreement * Percent in lieu and vacation percent pay up to 20% for the Permanent Part-time position, as per the ONA Collective Agreement *The oncology nurse practices at a high level of autonomy and accountability in collaboration with oncologists and the inter-professional health-care team to provide a continuum of patient care from prevention, early detection, diagnosis, treatment, follow up, palliation, bereavement and survivorship. As well as providing chemotherapy services, the nurse will also administer non-chemotherapy treatments as scheduled (blood transfusions, remicade, IVIG etc.)*A graduate from an approved School of Nursing * Certificate, and added nursing skills relevant to the nursing area. * Minimum of 2-3 years full-time equivalent experience within the last 4 years in an oncology or active medical/surgical unit. * Strong computer skills including Internet Explorer, Meditech and order entry. * Knowledge regarding the administration structure of the satellite units and their relationship with the RCP. * Bilingualism is an asset. *Blanche River Health is an equal opportunity employer.
