Job Title: Development Coordinator Reports To: Director, Development Assist Directors and Development Managers in all facets of the land development process including providing administrative support, as required, with a high level of accuracy. Support and assist in preparing, submitting, obtaining official plan amendments, zoning by-law amendments, site plan applications/ approvals, building permits, and minor variance applications for various projects; Organize and prepare for team meetings, prepare meeting minutes as required, responsibility for preparing and updating project status reports; Assist in due diligence process of prospective acquisitions/sales; Track all information pertaining to neighbouring properties (i.e. land sales, policy changes, etc.); Academic/Professional Requirements: ~ Bachelor's degree in Business, Urban Planning, Urban Land Economics, or related field. 1-3 years' experience in a real estate related field; ~ Proficient in MS Word, Power Point and Excel. Acrobat or Illustrator experience would be an asset. The Development Coordinator must be client focused , advocate and communicate a positive image of the company, both internally and externally. The Development Coordinator shall take accountability for decisions made and conduct oneself in a respectful, personable and ethical manner in representing the company's interests. The Development Coordinator shall demonstrate entrepreneurialism and behave like an "owner" in carrying out daily tasks and responsibilities; The Development Coordinator is expected to be a team player and work effectively with colleagues and associates in terms of input, sharing of ideas and working to achieve common goal.
