The Saskatchewan Healthcare Recruitment Agency is responsible for the development and implementation of strategies and tactics that facilitate the local, national and international recruitment and retention of physicians and health professionals in Saskatchewan in collaboration with our partners.

Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will support the Recruitment Agency by:

  • Coordinating Board of Directors and subcommittee meetings including meeting logistics and minutes.
  • Preparing agendas and taking minutes; managing electronic calendars; coordinating travel and preparing expense claims.
  • Providing daily management of the CEO's calendar and travel.
  • Establishing and maintaining administrative policies, procedures, and processes including filing, tracking and bring-forward systems, and maintaining quality standards for correspondence and other documents.
  • Providing administrative support to leadership and employees including preparing and reviewing correspondence and other documents.
  • Ensuring quality standards including compiling, formatting, editing, proofreading, signing, and distributing of a variety of sensitive and confidential documents such as correspondence, briefing material, policy documents and manuals.
  • Coding invoices and routing for approval and payment.
  • Supporting recruitment and retention initiatives of the Agency including:
  • Logistical support of events, for example, promotional material organization and shipping, booking venue space, arranging for IT equipment, catering, managing registration and tracking event metrics.
  • Support the administration of programs operated by the Agency.
  • Support inquiries from clients including record keeping and providing information publicly available about employment opportunities, communities, programs, and licensure.

Ideal Candidate

Typically, the knowledge and competencies for this position would have been acquired through:

  • Post-secondary diploma/certificate in business education combined with one year of senior administrative experience in an office setting or three years of administrative experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with various office software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Office management and administrative practices, procedures, and protocols as well as government administration processes, policies, and structures in a public sector setting (e.g., Cabinet documents, financial management, accounting principles and visual identity guidelines).
  • Communication skills for dealing with a wide range of external audiences including health professionals, senior leaders, stakeholders, and the public.
  • Attention to detail, including adherence to branding and consistent formatting.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve agreed-upon goals and targets and produce timely results.
  • Ability to take a proactive approach to job responsibilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities of project team members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Salary range $53,000 to $69,000 with a comprehensive benefits package.
