Job Description:
Position Summary: The MRB Calculator's mission is to ensure the structural integrity of the solutions provided to manufacturing problems by carrying out the necessary analytical calculations on the parts of the aircraft concerned in a timely manner.
B. Main responsibilities:
-Carry out calculations of static constraints to validate the proposed concessions and, at the same time,
need, quickly provide an alternative solution;
- Ensure that the fatigue and damage tolerance (DTA) requirements are met by the proposed concessions by validating them through calculations;
-Quickly assess structural issues and provide appropriate direction and advice
to members of the Liaison MRB team.
Academic background: hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineering.
Experience: a minimum of 5 years of computing experience is required.
Specific requirements :
-Have good knowledge of the resistance of materials as well as the ability to carry out
calculations by hand;
- Have training in statics, fatigue and DTA;
- Have a good command of Patran/Nastran, NASGRO and the Office suite;
-Master Catia as well as programming (VBA, Python, etc.);
-Have already obtained the MRB Stress Signatory level in another program or ability to reach the signatory level within 6 to 12 months;
- Have already worked on the G7500 program in calculation, particularly on the central section.
-Be equipped with the ability to tolerate and manage stress and work under pressure;
-Be bilingual French/English.
