The successful candidate will be responsible to teach all subjects, except for music, and will have a passion for supporting students in learning, be enthusiastic, flexible, and an energetic team player who: Has a strong understanding of balanced literacy practices and evidence that demonstrates these practices have been successfully implemented within the ELAL classroom.; Has a strong understanding of early numeracy instructional practices and evidence that demonstrates these practices have been successfully implemented within the classroom; Has the ability and willingness to respond to a diverse range of learners and a belief that with quality instruction and a supportive school environment, all students can experience success.; Has previous experience with Project-based/Inquiry based learning Applicants must possess or be eligible to obtain an Alberta Teaching Certificate In order to ensure and maintain a safe and secure working and learning environment, applicants new to Lethbridge School Division who are offered employment must provide: A satisfactory Intervention Record Check from South Region Alberta Child and Family Services Proof of photo identification, may be a valid driver's licence, provincial identification card as issued by a licensed government registry office, valid passport or Nexus card.
