Our team includes world class technical experts and dynamic go-getters. The Intermediate Marine Structural Engineer is a full-time position based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Prepare detailed analysis, design, and project deliverables including drawings, specifications and reports for general marine terminal infrastructure. Conduct field work and support during construction. Attend project coordination meetings and liaise with project team members, clients, sub-consultants, contractors and regulatory and environmental approval agencies. Liaise with clients to determine client requirements and prepare proposals, design work cost estimate, and project scheduling. Mentor/direct junior staff and review their works. The ideal candidate will have a degree in civil engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution (a master's degree is preferred). ~5-10 years prior experience in marine structural engineering/research, or a related discipline. ~ Design experience in marine structures including docks, marinas, ports, piers, steel sheet pile structures, steel and timber pile structures, floating structures and waterfront facilities. ~ Experience in large scale industrial and maritime projects. ~ Port layout and planning experience is preferred. ~ Experience with seismic design, structural analysis software. ~ WorleyConsulting offers an excellent remuneration & benefits package, a friendly, professional, dynamic and flexible work environment along with the opportunity to develop your career prospects within Canada and overseas.
