Our client is a leading provider of high-quality services in the heavy industrial sector, renowned for executing some of the largest plant shutdowns and handling complex industrial projects. With a strong presence in the Oil & Gas, Mining & Industrial, Pulp & Paper, and Power Generation industries, they pride themselves in delivering excellence and value to their clients through a diverse service portfolio. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our client's team. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects in line with the client's requirements. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related field. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management within the heavy industrial sector. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is highly desirable. Proven experience in managing large-scale plant shutdowns and complex industrial projects. Comprehensive understanding of the Oil & Gas, Mining & Industrial, Pulp & Paper, and Power Generation industries. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in project management software tools. Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Project Execution and Control: Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis to ensure project targets are being met. Monitor and report on project performance, including budget, schedule, and quality, and implement necessary corrective actions. Conduct risk management to minimize project risks. Manage project changes, including scope, schedule, and costs. Lead and manage project teams, ensuring that the project objectives are communicated clearly. Provide direction and support to the project team. Ensure that all projects are delivered in compliance with industry regulations, company standards, and client specifications. The role may involve working in harsh environments and may require travel to different project sites. Must be available to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
