The Oracle analyst will contribute to the upgrade planning, testing and implementation for the upgrade of Oracle e-business from version 12.1.3 to version 12.2.x and the supporting database upgrade from version 11.2.0.4 to 12C. The upgrade will also include server migrations to a new consolidated Oracle database environment. The upgrade work will include research to inform impact analysis and contributing to test plans. the Oracle Analyst will be a key contributor to the comprehensive migration plan; helping to define test cases, and acceptance criteria; executing test cases to confirm the performance and stability of the new environment and helping to reach a go/no-go decision based on system readiness to implement the Oracle e-business upgrade in production. Must Have Technical & Non-Technical Skills • Over 8 years of technical experience with Oracle solutions and multiple years of experience with Oracle e-business suite working with General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payables, and Purchasing modules as well as iProcurement and WebADI • Advanced experience with Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle tools including Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle BI Publisher and Oracle Database v11.2.0.4 and/or v12C • Very strong experience in supporting, upgrading, migrating, and implementing Oracle financial solutions • Experience with business clients, working with them to define their needs and developing solutions to meet those needs in the Oracle system • Change management experience based on ITIL and/or COBIT, including following CAB processes and obtaining production change approvals • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and be flexible in that environment to meet both operational and project timelines Nice to Have Technical & Non-Technical Skills • Experience with Agile SCRUM would be an asset • Experience with Version Control Software such as subversion or GIT (experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps specifically)• Experience with Oracle third party tools such as Toad, SQL Developer • Experience with Telnet/SSH/FTP tools such Putty, WinSCP
