As our portfolio continues to grow, we are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Scientist to join our dynamic Process Development team to transform the treatment of liver disease. As a Scientist I/II in the Process Development (PD) team, you will be at the forefront of creating and optimizing manufacturing processes crucial for the production of cutting-edge cell therapies for liver disease. Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute to the design, execution, and improvement of processes to ensure scalability, reproducibility, and regulatory compliance. Participate in the design, development, and optimization of cell therapy manufacturing processes from early development through to clinical phases. · Design and perform experiments to identify critical process parameters (CPPs) and implement strategies for process control. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transfer processes from research to development and manufacturing, ensuring seamless technology transfer. · Contribute to the design of experiments (DoE), statistical analysis of data, and interpretation of results to drive process improvements. · Generate detailed documentation of experimental procedures, results, and conclusions in accordance with company standards and regulatory guidelines. · Stay updated on the latest advancements in cell therapy and process development techniques, applying knowledge to enhance process strategies. · Contribute to a collaborative and innovative team environment by sharing insights and providing mentorship to junior team members. D. or Master's degree in Biochemical Engineering, Cell Biology, Biotechnology, or related field. · Accomplished record of planning and designing experiments, making key contributions to the execution of wet lab work, and data analysis and interpretation. · Track record of applying hypothesis testing to make decisions with data. · Ideally, hands-on experience in process development for cell and/or gene therapy, including advanced cell culture techniques and technologies. Experience with stirred tank bioreactors is an asset. · Demonstrated expertise with analytical techniques such as flow cytometry, qPCR, ELISA, and other relevant assays. · Experience with developing cryopreservation protocols (including the use of controlled rate freezers) is an asset. · Hands-on lab experience working with biomaterials in the field of polymer chemistry, material science or tissue engineering is an asset. · Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and propose effective solutions. · Core competency in using data and statistical methods to solve problems, and the ability to present data effectively. · Familiarity with DoE and Quality by Design (QbD) principles. · Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment, adapting to changing project priorities. · Contribute to groundbreaking advancements in the field of biotechnology. · Group medical and dental insurance. · If you're a driven scientist with a passion for analytical development in the realm of cell therapy, we invite you to apply for the Scientist I/II role.
