Our client is a leader of manufacturing company is seeking experienced Quality Inspector (CMM) to join our growing company. In this position will be responsible for inspecting parts using the CMM or laser tracker, with or without the use of a program or not, in an appropriate and safe manner, as well as monitoring the results of the measurements to ensure part conformity.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out technical inspection (dimensional, hardness, conductivity, etc.) and inspection of first production production parts (FAI)
• Handle non-conformities of goods
• Contribute to process optimization with a view to improving costs, quality and product delivery times
• Promote the quality message to all departments
• Inform his/her superior of any problem or event likely to hinder the smooth running of the of the department
• Contribute to the optimization of the process with a view to improving costs, quality and product delivery times
• All other related tasks

Qualifications:

• DEP in machining technology or machinist, or equivalent
• 3 years' practical experience as an aeronautical parts inspector essential
• Bilingualism required: French and English
• Familiarity with the use of CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft suite
• Demonstrates initiative and autonomy; able to work without supervision, tackles problems independently
• Conscientious, meticulous, methodical
• Excellent interpersonal skills: adaptability to diverse situations and individuals
• Effective problem-solving and work organization
• Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance drawings, and process and method manuals
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced and changing environment
