We are looking for a compassionate and caring *Licensed Practical Nurse* to join our amazing care team in one of our beautiful long term care facilities, *Pine Grove Seniors Community.*. *Facility Address: *313, McGowan Avenue, Kamloops, BC, V2B2N8*Position Details: *Casual - Create & control your own schedule *Compensation: *Starting at *$32.84 *per hour *Responsibilities** Performs assessments. * Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents. * Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures * Directly supervises care staff to meet resident's needs. * Performs other duties as assigned. *Qualifications** Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program. * Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC. * Current CPR and First Aid certification. * Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. * Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred). * Cultural education and experience are preferred *The successful applicant for this job posting must provide satisfactory proof, or have such proof on file, that they have received the COVID-19 vaccination and any required COVID-19 booster vaccination.
