Lifemark Physiotherapy Kamloops is seeking a Physiotherapist to join our Occupational Rehabilitation program. We have a variety of programs at our clinic and there is the possibility of gaining experience and exposure to programs such as Concussion and Pain. We treat complex orthopedic injuries and chronic and persistent pain. We provide physiotherapy, concussion care, vestibular (dizziness/balance and vertigo) therapy, exercise therapy, occupational therapy and clinical counselling to our clients.

Qualifications:

Graduate in Physiotherapy from a duly recognized university.
Registered in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of BC.
Experience treating clients in an outpatient rehabilitation clinical setting is a definite plus.
New Graduates with licenses are welcome to apply.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-disciplinary work environment
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others.
Demonstrated ability to hit the ground running and start work with minimum supervision.

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

Develop and execute individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning.
Perform assessments and complete reports at intake, progress and discharge to determine clients' appropriateness for the OR1, OR2, and return to work program
Continuously evaluate client progress and drive quality improvement in patient care delivery.
Communicate with team members and WorkSafe BC regarding claim-related decisions and recommendations
Collaborate with other rehabilitation professionals at the clinic.
Utilize e-charting software for documenting treatment sessions and recommendations.
Manage a caseload in a fast-paced environment.
Effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve service excellence.
Engage in continuous learning, mentorship, and skills development.
