We are looking for an Intermediate Environmental Scientist Technologist with a focus on Emergency Response to join our Site Investigation and Remediation (SIR) team in Alberta and/or Northwest Territories. This role involves leading emergency response projects under the guidance of exceptional managers and collaborating with a skilled team of environmental professionals. Provide technical and field support for emergency response projects in western Canada Mobilize on short notice, participate in field work, and travel outside your local city Supervise emergency response contractors for cleanup activities Fulfill health and safety requirements and write technical reports Execute routine SIR field projects when emergency response programs are not prevalent Proficiency in standard productivity software Previous experience in environmental assessments and emergency response programs Post-secondary certificate, diploma, or bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field Previous experience in environmental site assessments and emergency response Ability to work in both office and field environments Experience with digital field data collection tools is an asset
