As the Sales Director, Canada at Telesat, you play a pivotal role in driving business growth within our cutting-edge Telesat Lightspeed Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellation. Your mission is to develop and execute winning sales strategies, build a robust customer base, and generate revenue from LEO satellite communication products and services. Your ultimate goal is to evolve into the role of the Canadian Regional Director of Sales, overseeing Canadian sales operations. Develop, communicate, and execute compelling sales strategies for LEO and GEO services, specifically targeting the Government and enterprise verticals. Promote the Telesat brand with passion and conviction. Participate actively in strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, resource planning, and budgeting and reporting. Prepare persuasive presentation materials, including corporate overviews and service highlights. Work closely with colleagues to foster a collaborative and high-performance culture. Experience: Minimum 10 years experience with a proven track record in sales, preferably within the satellite communication industry. Fluently bilingual with exceptional verbal and written communication skills (Required). Relationship Building: Ability to establish and nurture strong customer relationships with all levels, including C-suite. A strategic mindset with the agility to adapt to a dynamic market. Eagerness to grow into a leadership role as the Regional Canadian Director of Sales.
