We have offices located in Mannville & Nisku, AB - looking after all three of our divisions: Vac & Water, Rentals, and Heavy Equipment.

As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining Bulldog's fleet of equipment in our Nisku or Mannville location. Our Mannville location, which is approximately 2 hours east of Edmonton & 40 minutes east of Vegreville, has the opportunity to provide accommodations with shift work flexibility.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lubricate, service, diagnose, repair, assemble, and maintain equipment and perform other routine maintenance work
  2. Ensure repairs and maintenance follow all provincial and federal transportation safety regulations and guidelines
  3. Follow the safety program, including all policies, procedures, and practices
  4. Complete work orders upon completion of each job
  5. Train operators to maintain vehicles while in the field
  6. Provide field service calls when required
  7. Ensure the shop is maintained and clean
Qualification and Competencies:
  • 2-3 years industry experience
  • Registered HET Apprentice or Journeyperson in Alberta (or province transferrable) is required
  • Safe driving skills; driver's abstract will be requested
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Skilled in problem-solving techniques
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Test
