About the role

The landscape Labourer's main responsibilities will be general landscaping such as mowing, edging, weeding, and pruning to maintain a well manicured landscape. You will be working closely with the Cedarbrook Groundskeeper to maintain the overall landscape of the property.

Please note this is a temporary position until October 31 st 2024

What you'll be doing

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, weeding, and pruning to maintain a well-manicured landscape
• Operate and maintain equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other hand tools
• Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees, ensuring proper watering and fertilization
• Monitor and control pests and diseases that may affect the health of the landscape
• Maintain and empty garbage cans throughout the site
• Maintain accurate records of work and reporting of issues
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in landscaping or a related field
• Ability to lift 50lbs and perform manual labor in various weather conditions
• Valid driver's license
• Experience and knowledge of plants is an asset
• Machine experience using skid steer and/or mini excavator an asset
