Our client is in the Retail industry. Reporting to the President, Our Client is looking for a VP Finance who will be responsible for all aspects of the Company's financial operations including IT, Credit, Human Resources, Administration and Facilities Management. Accountable for financial reporting, all areas of accounting operations, budgeting and forecasting, all tax laws and regulations, and related functions of the organization Responsible for IT providing oversight and ensuring that projects are properly aligned and prioritized with corporate needs, initiatives, and goals. Accountable for credit, ensuring that company assets are safeguarded, and financial risk is minimized. Responsible for managing and administrating all Human Resources related functions including payroll, recruitment, terminations, Benefits, Employee Handbook, Health & Safety and Employee service awards program. Manages the treasury function and negotiate with the bank ensuring the most beneficial and cost-effective banking and financing arrangements are concluded on behalf of the company. Responsible for engaging and supporting the external audit activities and audit preparation. Manages all insurance coverage and building lease negotiations for the organization. Liaison with external parties (accountants, lawyers, banks, insurance, etc.) with regard to all financial, legal and tax issues Experience with functions outside of Finance (eg IT , HR, Admin, Facilities)~
