Business Analyst (Vocera/Nurse Call Implementation)

Job Description:

On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity is looking for a Business Analyst to support their project to implement Vocera / Nurse Call Integration. This integration will enable enhanced clinical workflow such as the ability to route patient calls for assistance to the clinical staff member assigned to that patient.

Responsibilities:

• Business and clinical requirements identification and documentation, including:

o Coordinating requirements workshops, site surveys and requirements questionnaires.

o Documentation of business requirements

o Test case writing, testing and test coordination

o Clinical stakeholder user engagement, clinical change management and communications

• Coordination of technical resources, for Nurse Call, Wi-Fi, and network configuration, for example.

• Coordination of facilities management resources, for site surveys, electrical and millwork.

• Development of a repeatable intake support process and application call flow design that can be used across successive clinical departments. To include continuous process improvement and lessons learned.

• Development of repeatable requirements identification processes that can be used across successive clinical departments. To include continuous process improvement and lessons learned.

• Detailed review and clinical approval of use cases against call flow designs.

• Discovery and detailed requirements for system integrations

• Discovery and detailed business and 'Non Functional Requirements' (NFR's) for Nurse Call integration.

• Hands-on configuration of call flows and expression rules, as applicable

• Coordination and hands-on involvement with user adoption strategy and use adoption training with end-users.

• Participate in go-live support and end use adoption with training sessions.

• Coordination of Vocera inventory for:

• Badges

• Software licenses

• Battery chargers

• Badge accessories

• Nurse Call – call points, as well as possibility for other integration data management

• Documenting and transitioning work to operational teams, including gathering all required sign-offs as well as having a period of supporting transition.

• Other duties as assigned by project manager

Qualifications:

Mandatory:

• Minimum 4 years' experience working as a Sr. BA

• Minimum 5-10 years' experience with business requirements and use case development and analysis.

• Minimum 5-10 years' experience with user adoption strategies (Change management and training plans)

• Minimum 5-10 years' Experience managing department requirement matrixes across multiple departments.

Preference:

• Preferably 3-5 years' experience with voice call flows

• Preferably 3-5 years' experience with unified communications solutions

• Experience managing end user asset management with multiple parts and complex licenses would be strongly preferred. E.g., Vocera badges, batteries, chargers, headsets, licensing assignments, etc.

• Experience with end user training in a clinical setting would be strongly preferred.

• Experience with call flow design and build would be strongly preferred.

• Experience with clinical communication and collaboration solutions would be strongly preferred. Specific experience with Vocera would be considered to be an asset.

• Experience with Vocera integration engine call Engage and writing Engage expression rules would be beneficial.

• Experience with clinical nurse call solutions and integration with Vocera would be a major asset.

Hourly Rate: $80-$95 Per Hour.
