Job Title: Civil Engineering Project Manager

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to join a growing team. In this role, you will oversee a team of civil technologists and manage all aspects of the client projects, from design to installation. The successful candidate will be a natural leader with strong technical expertise and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee the day-to-day functions of the civil technologist department
2. Lead and mentor a team of civil technologists, providing guidance and support as needed
3. Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and objectives
4. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure adherence to deadlines and budgetary constraints
5. Oversee the design and engineering process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
6. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
7. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues or concerns
8. Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders on project status and milestones
9. Identify and mitigate risks to project success, and implement corrective actions as needed
10. Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) license required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management or similar capacity
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate team members
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale civil engineering projects from conception to completion
• In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and techniques
• Familiarity with industry-standard software tools and technologies
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
