ITS Projector Maintenance Student (2 positions) July 2 – August 30, 2024

The Simcoe County District School Board is seeking two (2) students for a summer position. Reporting to the Manager - Technology, the successful candidate will travel to our school locations in pairs to perform preventative maintenance and inventory on projectors in our schools for the Information Technology Services department.

Location:Education Centre with travel throughout Simcoe County

Midhurst, Ontario

Rate:$19.07 plus 4% vacation pay
(+ bonus for returning summer students)

Start Date:July 2, 2024 (possibly earlier)

Qualifications:

Required: Secondary School/College/University student with education and/or experience related to information technology. Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations. Strong interpersonal, organizational and communications skills. Able to work individually and as a team member.

Travel throughout Simcoe County is required; an Ontario Driver's License and a reliable vehicle are required. Mileage reimbursed at the Board established rate.

Other: Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Teams would be an asset.
