We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician or labourer willing to learn and join our team. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This is a full-time position. We are located in Hamiota, MB. Duties: - Perform automotive repairs on vehicles that have been damaged in accidents or other incidents - Assess the extent of damage and develop a plan for repairs - Remove damaged parts and repair or replace them as necessary - Straighten bent frames and panels using hand and power tools - Apply fillers, primers, and paint to repaired areas - Ensure that all repairs meet quality standards and customer specifications - Keep track of inventory and order necessary parts and materials - Maintain a clean and organized work area -Clean shop -Repair stone chips Skills: - Strong automotive repair skills, with a focus on bodywork and painting - Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with vehicles - Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment commonly used in auto body repair - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks - Experience working in a dealership or similar automotive repair environment is preferred We offer competitive pay based on experience and skills.
