Job Description:
We are looking for an IT Project Manager for a growing successful Insurance Company to assist in implementing new business systems in particular MS Dynamics 365 and ADP
. The Project Manager works closely with the Senior Leadership team to identify solutions, improve processes and generate outcomes that align to, and support the strategic objectives and goals of the business. Key responsibilities
- Manage various business projects & initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Contribute to defining strategies to ensure desired outcomes, using appropriate techniques to enable strategic planning, demand management, continuous improvement, cost benefit and project budgets
- Lead projects within a defined area of authority by effectively planning and directing the work to implement agreed upon solutions
- Plan, monitor, control and coordinate assigned initiatives, working with business partners to break down complex tasks, identify gaps and associated opportunities.
- Manage relationships with 3 rd party suppliers and/or contractors; ensuring the appropriate controls, support and service levels are in place to deliver quality.
- Manage junior staff and other designated members of the PMO, overseeing their work, supporting their career growth and other managerial supports.
- Provide direction and support for Business Analysts and assist in documenting change management procedures and protocols.
Knowledge, skills, and experience
- University Degree preferred with a focus on business administration and /or Information technology management
- 8-10 years of previous experience in project management roles
- Experience in managing employees in a direct or matrix environment
- Experience managing relationships with external suppliers and vendors
- System development processes and continuous improvement techniques; experience with agile development
- MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) MS-Project or similar programs
- Familiarity with MS-Teams & Sharepoint
- Experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance business required
- Experience with MS Dynamics is an asset

- Ability to encourage and enable people to work together as a team to accomplish the project
Project Management
- Knowledge of fundamental project management processes, methodologies and tools & techniques and ability to adapt them to Ecclesiastical
Industry Management
- High-level understanding of applications & technologies used in the insurance industry
- Ability to adapt project management processes to an organization's business cycle
