We strive to give our customer's nothing but the best and thus want to attract the best of best of forestry or nursery experienced professionals who are excited by the challenge and reward of becoming a full-time, permanent Customer Support Representative (CSR) to provide outstanding support and service to ensure our customers have the best possible experience being served by PRT while also leading all commercial aspects within our Northern BC region. The CSR-North Region, will play the leading role in ensuring that PRT effectively achieves superior customer service expectations while meeting our business targets within the Northern BC forest seedling markets. This will be accomplished by close customer attention focused upon quality of product and exceptional service in addition to maintaining expert knowledge and forecast acumen of the market and industry, successfully fulfilling all commercial efforts and objectives to all prospective forest seedling customers in the market and by leading the coordination and execution of all customer expectations and requirements with PRT Production personnel, PRT Contract and Sales Administrators, and PRT's internal information systems. PRT displays and expects a strong passion for supporting forest renewal and resource sustainability. The CER will be the critical piece of a Customer Experience team that exists to serve our Customers and fully meet their product and service expects along with ongoing support of the forest industry and exudes pride in having a positive impact on the sustainability and competitiveness of the forest industry for generations to come. Key Accountabilities of the Customer Support Representative (CSR): ~ To serve the customer and maximize their complete PRT experience to support their long-term needs and growth trajectory ~ To work seamlessly with Operations ensuring high quality product solutions to specification and exceptional service execution ~ 50% market share in every region by earning and retaining our customer's confidence in our products and services ~ To maximize margin earned by using data to generate information to support product, service, location, and price decisions ~ To proactively track demand and provide confident forecasts to support business and capex decisions that create PRT value Safety first, commercial action plans with targets, customer engagement events with purpose, confident curiosity for advancement, goal oriented and results/success driven, collaborate to leverage collective strengths but do not fear effective autonomy when called for The Customer Experience Representative will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer. Located in the central interior of British Columbia, Quesnel is a vibrant community, beautifully situated at the confluence of the Quesnel and Fraser rivers. Whether you enjoy fishing, mountain biking, shopping, hiking or cross-country skiing in the evening on lit trails, you'll find everything is a quick drive or walk away. in addition to a ski hill within a half hour drive from town, the region offers world-class fishing, backcountry and cross-country skiing, hunting, golfing and alpine trails for hiking and horseback riding coupled with a lively music scene, art gallery, museum, theatrical performances, and an energetic sporting community. Passion, purpose, perseverance supporting the resolve to create value and be the best of the best Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions Post-secondary education, preferably with a bachelor's degree in Forestry or in a relevant discipline Minimum of 5-year experience in forestry, nursery management, or territory sales management supporting forestry customers Strong forestry, silviculture and forest seedling product and/or cultivation knowledge Knowledge of and a network within the Northern BC Region Valid Driver's License, vehicle, and a clean abstract with the ability to travel within assigned territory 25% - 40% of the time Proven track record of building customer relationships that yield sustained business growth Strong planning, organization, and time management skills Computer skill proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Work, Outlook) Experience operating with a high level of confidentiality and adherence to corporate compliance, reporting, and company policies Unique opportunity for equity investment, at your sole discretion, providing you an entrepreneurial opportunity to become a shareholder in a private company with a value creation mindset A supportive team structured environment, a strong safety culture, and a commitment to product quality, the environment, and the legacy of forests for generations to come At PRT, you'll get mentorship and acknowledgment for helping our business grow.
