Duties:

1. Gain proficiency and expertise in the field of topological data science.
2. Engage in reading research papers and analyzing real-world datasets.
3. Conduct original research , including writing academic papers and summarizing research progress.
4. Attend meetings to collaborate and share insights.
5. Participate actively in discussions related to ongoing research.
6. Study and review relevant materials in mathematics and data science.
7. Fulfill any additional tasks necessary to support the research project-as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:

1. Currently enrolled in the Bachelor's degree program in mathematics or a related field at Brandon University.
2. Strong academic performance in mathematics courses, with a high GPA.
3. Aptitude and enthusiasm for mathematics and its applications.
4. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
5. Work autonomously and collaboratively with peers, to produce written materials such as research papers or surveys.
6. Prior knowledge in topology and group theory is advantageous but not a requirement.
