Learn more at: telusinternational.com Position Overview This Strategic Initiatives Senior Manager role sits at the centre of the TELUS International Finance Organization. Reporting to the Director of Finance Enablement, and working closely with the Finance Leadership Team, you will lead critical programs and governance that support the overall success of our broader finance team as well as TELUS International organization You are a key contributor to critical and strategic programs at the executive level, providing direct support, while fostering cultural changes that support our TELUS International finance vision. We are seeking a generalist with a high degree of emotional intelligence & thought leadership, who is known for the ability to deliver with excellence. You have a natural ability to form strong working relationships and transform the complicated into simple. You are comfortable working with all levels of the organization – including senior executives, and are a highly motivated self-starter, joining a high performing team with a strong brand for delivering quality and impactful results. You are comfortable challenging the status quo and engaging in constructive debate. Your program management skills and proficiency with Google Suite, complemented by customized storytelling ability draw admiration. Here's how: Lead and Prime major milestones and overall priority programs Runs multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision/oversight Creates consolidated program milestones, interdependencies and communication plans Facilitates working sessions to define transition plans, activities and contingency plans to eliminate obstacles to achieve on-time/on-budget completion of program transition events Develops program governance structure including creation of Executive Steering Team Develop and facilitate senior level strategic planning sessions to drive to specific outcomes Clearly articulate concepts and storylines through various mediums, especially Google Slides Coordinate, plan and facilitate meetings at senior leadership level (Senior Director and higher) Support various strategic development ad-hoc requests from the leadership team and key stakeholders Take ownership and delivery of results on special projects identified by the leadership team Provide direct support on CFO-level communications You're the missing piece of the puzzle 6+ years in a program management or planning role Professional accreditation or certification; PMP or equivalent designation Possesses a unique mix of advanced strategy, planning, program management, and exceptional leadership competencies Is highly comfortable with change and ambiguity Is an agile learner with the ability to operate at the intersections of: big ideas and small details, thinking and doing, boldness and humility, leading and following Excels in highly collaborative team environments Brings extraordinary verbal and written communication skills Has a track record for successfully leading direct and matrixed teams through change Location: Remote - Canada TELUS Values: TELUS International recognizes and embraces the importance of values in our ever-changing workplace.
