Job Summary

FLIR Unmanned Aerial Systems, a subsidiary of Teledyne Flir, located in the greater Montreal area, is looking for dynamic and motivated candidates to fill an important position in its manufacturing team. This ISO 9001 FLIR facility designs, builds, and services advanced surveillance radar systems that are sold worldwide. Our radar systems are amongst the best performers and most reliable in the industry.

Primary Duties & responsibilities

Overall day to day coordination and support with the responsibilities in specific areas listed below:

  • Perform incoming inspection on shipments/materials received
  • Receive and physically store materials
  • Prepare packing for outgoing shipments
  • Prepare accurate bill of lading/commercial invoice and other documents require
  • Ensure proper documentation for shipments in a timely manner
  • In accordance with procedures, perform Global Trade Compliance verifications for all shipments (ITAR- GTC)
  • Transact receipts, shipments, transfers, etc. in SAP to enable accurate billing and inventory
  • Communicate with customers for shipping instruction
  • Other duties as required

Requirements

  • College diploma in Administration/Supply Chain/or related discipline
  • 1 year of experience in international shipping/receiving
  • Experience with SAP
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Experience in a small business environment is an asset
  • Bilingual- strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English language
  • Working knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

This position requires access to export-controlled information or items (i.e. regulated technology or technical data per ITAR/EAR US regulations). Applicants must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.

Eligible to be certified to examine, possess, and transfer items under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and legally authorized to work in Canada
