Spectrum Resource GroupField Supervisor for Integrated Vegetation Management

for projects in Northern BC. This position is based from Prince George, BC.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Ensure Compliance on all OH&S related aspects
2. Ensure Spectrum policies are followed
3. Assist Project Manager and Human Resources with hiring and personnel resource requirements
4. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work plans for the crew
5. Be the main point of contact for clients
6. Occasionally work with crew on sites, and assist crew leads with daily operations
7. Assist Project Managers with project reports
8. Ensure daily communication with Crew and Clients
9. Enter and review payroll for self and crew
10. Position requires outside travel

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Any educational background in Natural Resources, Forestry or Environmental Science would be considered a strong asset
• Pesticide Applicator Certification (5 year), or provincial equivalent
• Strong proficiency in using a chainsaw
• Experience in vegetation management
• Experience in a leadership role
• Occupational First Aid Level 1 and Transportation Endorsement OR Occupational First Aid Level 3
• Class 5 Drivers License and Clean Drivers abstract
• Experience using ATVs, or other offroad vehicles
• Able to work outside and in a range of weather conditions
• Physically fit to work and walk in a rough terrain area
• Can comply with Drug and Alcohol Test (mandatory for safety sensitive position – chainsaw and vehicle operation)

REMUNERATION: $ - $ per hour
Benefits package after three months of employment
Eligibility for participation in the Company's Deferred Share Unit (DSU) Plan
4x4 for work-use
