Prior Authorization Assistance: Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to help obtain prior authorizations for specialty medications, ensuring patients have timely access to their prescribed treatments. Billing and Reimbursement Support: Assist with insurance claims processing and billing tasks related to specialty medications, ensuring accurate documentation for reimbursement. Pharmacy Software Utilization: Utilize pharmacy software systems for data entry, prescription processing, and patient record management. Collaborative Teamwork: Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with pharmacists, clinical pharmacists and pharmacy staff at store level. Crossover duties at out Compliance Packaging Centre. Participate in the development and action of yearly competency performance work plan(s) and development action plan(s). Pass the Calgary Co-op Pharmacy Assistant test.
