Tasks:
  1. Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
  2. Collect and screen applicants
  3. Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  4. Review candidate inventories
  5. Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
  6. Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
  7. Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
  8. Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
  9. Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
  10. Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
  11. Provide information or services such as employee assistance, counselling and recognition programs
  12. Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing and record-keeping duties
  13. Computer and Technology Knowledge: Electronic mail, MS Word
