Education:

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience:

1 year to less than 2 years

Tasks:
  1. Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
  2. Prepare and post notices and advertisements
  3. Collect and screen applicants
  4. Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  5. Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
  6. Recruit graduates of colleges, universities and other educational institutions
  7. Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
  8. Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
  9. Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
  10. Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
  11. Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinate termination of employment process
  12. Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
  13. Recruit and hire staff
Computer and technology knowledge:

Human resources software, MS Excel, MS Word
