Job Description

Our client, an innovative and well-regarded company in the real estate and property management industry, is in search of a Property Accounting Administrator to become part of their team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This role offers a full-time permanent position, perfectly suited for a diligent and adaptable professional.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:

  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Account reconciliations
  • Processing rent rolls
  • Processing payments & EFT's
  • Posting Journal entries
  • Monthly reporting
  • Other duties as necessary

Experience & Attributes for Success:

  • Minimum of 2 5 years experience in a related property administrator role is preferred
  • Relevant accounting experience will be considered
  • An understanding of leases and tenant account reconciliations
  • Microsoft Office and proficiency with Yardi software is strongly preferred
  • Proven initiative and capable of working within set deadlines
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently with strong time management and organization skills
  • Professional and courteous interaction and communication
