We are seeking a talented and experienced Line Cook with expertise in Middle Eastern cuisine to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the rich flavors, ingredients, and techniques of Middle Eastern cooking. They should be passionate about creating authentic dishes while also possessing the creativity to adjust recipes as needed to suit our restaurant's unique offerings. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of Middle Eastern dishes, ensuring they meet the highest standards of taste, quality, and presentation. Utilize expert knowledge of Middle Eastern spices, herbs, and ingredients to create authentic flavors in dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and refine recipes, adjusting ingredients and cooking techniques as necessary. Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner to meet customer demands during service hours. Monitor and manage inventory of ingredients, ensuring freshness and availability of necessary items. Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff members, sharing knowledge of Middle Eastern culinary techniques. Stay updated on current culinary trends, especially in Middle Eastern cuisine, and incorporate new ideas into menu offerings. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Line Cook with a focus on Middle Eastern cuisine, preferably in a high-volume restaurant setting. In-depth knowledge of Middle Eastern cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles. Ability to adjust recipes and create innovative dishes while maintaining authenticity. Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. Excellent time management and organizational skills, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Team player with effective communication skills, able to collaborate with kitchen staff and management. Culinary degree or certification is a plus, but not required for candidates with relevant experience.
