We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join the Data Platform team and help us build a high-quality, world-class, scalable, and efficient data platform. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient data pipelines. Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Scala, Java, Apache Spark, and Apache Kafka to ingest, process, and transform large volumes of data. Build and improve batch and real-time data processing solutions to support analytics, reporting, and machine learning. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring data health and system reliability. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging big data and data engineering technologies. You have 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in a similar role. Proficiency in Scala and Java programming languages (knowledge of Python would be a plus). Strong technical background in software development, streaming technologies, data engineering, and big data technologies (such as Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, Delta Lakes, etc.). Experience with Databricks for data exploration and analysis. Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB, Druid, Neo4j, etc.). Experience with data warehousing and ETL tools is a plus.
