Join a dynamic team and secure a position as a Payroll and Human Resources Technician for a well-established construction company in its field of expertise in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu!

Benefits offered:

1. Full-time permanent position, day shift, Monday to Friday, flexible 40 hours per week
2. Annual salary between $60,000 and $70,000, depending on experience
3. 4 weeks of vacation per year (construction holidays)
4. 4 floating holidays
5. Possible telecommuting one day per week, on Thursdays

Your responsibilities:

1. Process weekly payroll, verify time sheets, and pay according to the CCQ agreement
2. Produce payroll reports for management
3. Compile worker hours on job sites, assign them to the correct projects
4. Create employee records
5. Produce employment statements
6. Compile data on the CCQ site, produce reports, keep information up to date
7. Process RRSP and DPSP contributions
8. Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, vacation, and benefits
9. Administer employee benefits
10. Participate in job postings
11. Participate in human resources projects

Your requirements:

1. Hold relevant training for the position
2. Experience in payroll processing in the construction industry is an asset
3. Proficiency in MS Office suite, primarily Excel
4. Proficiency in Maestro is a strong asset
5. Experience in human resources is an asset; the employer can provide training!
