About The Opportunity

Our reputable Ottawa client is looking for a Senior AV Technician to join their team Immediately (Onsite). Under the direction of the IT Manager of Client Technologies, the selected candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting the implementation of several MS Teams Rooms instances, Video Conferencing and Digital Media applications. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative and dynamic setting where your AV expertise will be crucial in the successful delivery of this project. The selected candidate will reside in Ottawa as the position will be onsite.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Supporting the MS Teams rooms set up including technical support
• Providing education sessions to the IT team and other key members of the business on the BrightSign platform and MS Teams rooms
• Leading and implementing all aspects of the BrightSign implementation including support after go-live
• Planning, Architecture, Vendor Management, and creation of support documentation
• Assistance in deploying AV and supporting any other general AV support
• Provide courteous, professional, and quality service to staff

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

• A minimum of 8+ years' experience in an AV Technician role
• Experience with Crestron and Brightsign or other digital display software
• Experience with Video Walls (Software and Hardware) and User Interfaces
• Experience implementing MS Teams Rooms instances in an Enterprise environment
• Knowledge of Mac OS and hardware as well as MS Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10, Windows 2012R2/16), server hardware and software, MS Office products such as O365
• Must hold a Reliability Clearance with the Government of Canada
• Excellent communication and customer service skills including patience and diplomacy
