We are currently seeking a skilled Data Analyst to provide coverage for maternitiy leave. This position is offered on a contract basis for a duration of 13 months.

Data Analyst Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring delivery of data through the pipeline:

• Submetering devices;
• Data collectors;
• Databases;
• Reporting applications;
• Composing and/or improving SQL queries and reports;
• Recommending and implementing approved automation of tasks wherever possible;
• Develop and maintain technical and process documentation;
• Maintain the credibility of the DevOps team in interactions with stakeholders;
• Consult with other members of the DevOps team when assessing improvements and providing; support/training for any automation or programmatic solutions implemented;
• Attending daily team stand-ups, ceremonies and meetings as required;
• Be awesome!

Experience/Knowledge/Ability

• General Data Management skills including governance and security;
• Advanced SQL ability;
• Excellent troubleshooting skills;
• Solid understanding of Python or other programming language(s) used in automation;
• Understanding of Airflow and DAGs;
• Understanding of methods in data management, e.g., FTP, Bulk data pipelines, data quality.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in a field such as statistics, computer science, or mathematics;
• Certifications are desirable but not required (Data Analyst, SQL, CDMP).
