Our future success depends on our ability to efficiently and reliably deliver estimates & technical support across our product lines. The Manager is responsible for training and managing the daily activities of the Technical Sales Specialist/Estimating Team on our fully engineered Decoustics line of products as well as wood product lines as needed internally or externally. The Estimating Manager will provide technical support & design advice to architectural firms, our independent rep network, and internal staff. Guiding the team through projects and maximizing our project scope and pricing opportunities being the principal objectives. Supervise, support and direct the Technical Sales Specialists/Estimators on the quotation process, product & manufacturing capabilities, pricing techniques and construction process for Specialty Ceilings projects. Coach, train, motivate and performance manage the team members on their product knowledge, attributes, project pricing strategies, and individual career paths. In conjunction with the team solicits supplier bids and proposals for labor and materials, and evaluates proposals to ensure they meet project specifications, timelines and budget requirements. Support and drive the development and implementation of digital support tools and continuous improvement projects. Salesforce as part of the support to the IPG strategy and the required timely follow up to quotations issued to gain valuable input and needed follow up to increase overall win rate. SAP, Salesforce, quotation, and reporting templates etc. Cross IPG strategy development needs to support cross functional support across the groups, metal, wood, fiberglass divisions. Coordinate Projects Internally Work with Research & Development to obtain required product testing and accreditations to meet project specifications. Bachelor's Degree (preferred) in Architecture, Engineering or Design ~+Knowledge of architectural custom products and manufacturing processes ~ Understand architectural specification process and able to read and interpret architectural drawings, RCP's and project schedules ~ Understand commercial construction and the bidding process ~ Requires a high level of problem solving, decision making, and time management ~ Our menu of flexible options includes, but is not limited to: Volunteer Day off: Give back to the community – each employee has one paid day a year that they can use towards volunteering their time and effort with a registered charity.
