Select People Solutions is currently seeking a 5th Class Power Engineer for our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various mechanical systems and equipment within our facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of power engineering principles, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
Compensation & Hours:
- The rate of pay will be $26-$31/hr, dependent on experience
- Monday – Friday, 8AM-4PM
- Position is located in Lethbridge, AB
- Must be available to start within 2 weeks
Monitor and operate equipment such as boilers, pumps, and dryer systems to ensure optimal performance. Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials and products as required. Stack and organize materials neatly to maximize storage space and facilitate inventory management. Assist with other warehouse tasks such as picking orders, packing products, and conducting inventory counts as required.
Required Qualifications:- Valid 5th Class Power Engineering Certification
- Steel-Toed Boots
- Ability to lift over 20kg
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to relevant regulations and procedures
