Afternoon: 4:30pm – 3:00am (Mon-Thurs) Weldco-Beales Manufacturing designs and manufactures specialized heavy equipment attachments for the construction, forestry, mining, scrap recycling, road maintenanceand resource industries throughout Canada, the USA and internationally. Rewards: monthly incentive program with monetary rewards service awards in 5-year increments company/team events personal growth opportunities career advancement opportunities What you will do: Read and interpret work orders Follow directions given on work orders and by co-workers Transport raw materials and finished metal products manually, using hoists or other devices Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials Grind and deburr sharp edges from metal parts using hand and power tools Clean and maintain the work areas and equipment Operate forklifts and overhead cranes Participate in building maintenance, including landscaping and winter duties Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work environment Perform other duties as required A minimum of one year of related experience Demonstrable knowledge of basic tools and equipment, including grinders Knowledge of general safety practices Overhead Crane and Rigging experience is an asset (on-site training and certification provided) Forklift experience is an asset (onsite training and certification provided) What you bring to the position: Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others Time management, organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
