Key Responsibilities

The Public Safety Radio team within Bell is seeking an individual that enjoys working directly with customers and in an autonomous and diverse environment. This individual will lead a team that plans, designs, builds, and operates networks providing managed services for Public Safety and Commercial users. The Radio team expects its employees to be engaged to deliver a superior quality of service and promptness expected by our customers.

Job Function Accountabilities:

Reporting to the Director, National Radio Engineering & Operations, the successful candidate will lead a team of Radio Engineers and Radio Specialists accountable to develop solutions for our Public Safety and Commercial Radio Networks. The Senior Manager will have the following accountabilities/responsibilities:

  2. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and present in front of senior executives and our customers.
  3. Lead with a strategic mindset while dealing with ambiguity in a high complex dynamic environment.
  4. Decisive, confident, a sense of urgency and ownership, ability to think on your feet, drive clear action and ability to influence others.
  5. Lead a technical team from initial solution development and costing through to successful implementation for our customers.
  6. Foster a strong partnership with cross-functional teams enabling successful project execution and delivery.
  7. Work closely with internal stakeholders to forecast and deliver project and financial results.
  8. Support process improvements and alignment across cross-functional teams.
Critical Qualifications

University degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance
Experience in successfully leading teams to deliver results
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and providing guidance to others for cost containment

Preferred Qualifications

Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication and project/time management skills
Ability to motivate others and promote team collaboration and employee value
Self-sufficient and strong ability to drive and adapt to changes
Experience in P25, DMR, Tetra, and LTE is an asset
French is an asset

Job Location

1 position will be located in Montreal and 1 position will be located in Atlantic, Ontario, or Manitoba. Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
