Marketing Co-ordinator Full-Time, Waterloo ON Hybrid (some in-office time is mandatory) Earthscape designs and crafts beautiful, innovative, and seriously fun play structures and community spaces that inspire children and adults to play creatively. You are inspired by Earthscape's playgrounds and passionate about play and communities. As the Marketing Coordinator, you'll need to be adept at handling multiple tasks and possess a variety of skills to support our diverse marketing endeavours with passion and excitement. This is a new role on the Marketing, Communications, and Sales team. You will work under the guidance of the Marketing Director to assist in creating compelling and engaging content for our website, social media, email campaigns, events, and other channels. You know social media inside-out and are highly skilled in communicating using words and imagery. You have the technical prowess to bring narratives to life and the ability to analyze the effectiveness of our marketing strategies. You have also thought about how AI can assist in our marketing efforts. Create relevant and engaging content for a variety of internal and external communications channels, including but not limited to Earthscape's websites, e-newsletters, blog, social media (especially LinkedIn & Instagram ), reports, print brochures, advertisements, and PowerPoint presentations; content may include editorial copy, photos, videos, reels, and other assets Manage timely, accurate, and engaging content on Earthscape's three websites Provide creative support for Earthscape social media channels, including the development of content, monitoring of audiences, community management, and engagement Assist with the selection, hiring, and management of remote photographers & videographers for completed playground projects Capture photos and videos of local events, staff activities, and projects under development, and edit photos and videos to share with internal and external audiences Ensure that all content produced aligns with Earthscape's brand and is targeted and compelling to the intended audience Ensure that Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies are effectively implemented across 3 websites Monitor media, marketing data, and Google Analytics to track results And the obligatory, "other marketing and communications duties as assigned" Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, photography, film, communications, digital communications, advertising, or similar ~2-5 years of experience in content creation, marketing, communications, or similar ~ experience with Adobe Creative Cloud preferred ~ Familiarity with website organization, management, and content development (experience with WordPress or Contentful preferred)~ Proficient understanding of social media algorithms ~ Knowledge of communications best practices — including online, social, visual, video, print, and communicating with diverse audiences ~ Ability to work in-office a minimum of two days per week ~ The opportunity to communicate the stories of some of North America's most innovative playground projects. profit sharing, employee share ownership program (ESOP), and performance bonuses; extended health and dental benefits for full-time employees after 6 months; social events throughout the year; award-winning projects and designs; These could include work references, education and credential confirmation, employment verification, identity check, criminal offense, and a driver's license record. #
